Emma Quintana

Over the past decade, Quintana has worked in Makerspace and FabLab environments in Portland, New York City, and Tampa. While working as a shop technician and arts facilitator in these unique studios, she has gained an appreciation for collaborative environments that support constructivist learning models. These studios foster innovation and community creatively while allowing students a way to access technologies and tools that aid in project design. She understands how to make tools accessible and how to create a safe and inclusive making environment.
